John Murphy

John E. Murphy, Jr., Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor, joined the Orrstown Financial Advisors team in 2019 with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. John has Series 7 and 66 Securities Registration, as well as a Pennsylvania life insurance and annuity license. He graduated from Xavier University with a BSBA in Accounting. John served for many years as a township supervisor for East Donegal Township, and as a police commissioner for the Susquehanna Regional Police Department. He was named “Cetera Advisor Networks Top Financial Institution Division Rep” four times. John and his wife JoAnne live in Lancaster, and they have five children and a growing number of grandchildren.
